We’re looking for a Journeyperson Pipefitter , local to the Red Deer area, to join our team with an immediate start date for a long-term maintenance contract.

What You’ll Do :

• Maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Maintain and repair pressurized piping systems.
• Hydro test and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required.

Qualifications :

• Journeyperson Pipefitter Ticket
• Experience in a complex Petro-Chemical facility is required
• Experience in maintenance processes
• Required Safety Tickets : CSTS-2020Energy Safety CanadaFall ProtectionConfined SpaceEWP (considered an asset)
• Pre-access Drug and Alcohol Test

Working Conditions

• Working at heights, in and around noise, dust, indoor and outdoor in hot and cold weather conditions
• Working in a confined space
• Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements

• Must be clean shaven
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance
• Stand or walk for long periods of time
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
