We are seeking a curious, objective, and analytical individual to join the global Client Insights & Analytics team within Orbis’ Client Group.
You will be joining a high performing and dynamic international team that focuses on developing and supporting our global client distribution and servicing efforts.
About the Client Insights & Analytics Team
The Client Insights & Analytics team, based in Canada and the United Kingdom, is responsible for analyzing data and reporting insights on our investment portfolios, performance, and holdings to our global client base.
The team focuses on three streams of work : Investment Content, Client Content, and Client Relations. Individuals joining the Client Insights & Analytics team can get involved in more than one stream.

What will your responsibilities be?
You will be exposed to a wide range of responsibilities in support of our client efforts. You will be expected to develop an in-depth understanding of the client landscape, Orbis’ proprietary tools and resources, and our investment portfolios to deliver excellent service to our clients.
Your starting responsibilities will include a subset of the below, tailored to your skills, interests, and our clients’ needs.
Core responsibilities include :
Client content :
Analyze, review, and maintain client reporting materials that include performance, risk measures, portfolio exposures, and fee information.
Leverage technical and data expertise to support client data requests and maintain ownership of calculation methodologies.
Manage global projects focused on refining our content to meet client needs and streamlining business processes alongside our technology team.
Client relations :
Assist Client Managers in responding to firm, product, and investment-related client queries and questionnaires.
Develop effective relationships with adjacent teams who play a critical role in servicing our clients.
Develop and maintain standard information documents such as introductory guides for prospective investors.
Investment content :
Develop and maintain external presentation materials on Orbis’ portfolios, performance, and holdings, working alongside Investment Analysts and Investment Specialists.
Perform analysis with internal and external data sources to help convey key messaging to clients.
Own internal communication materials related to the Orbis strategies.

Your qualifications and experience
Undergraduate degree with a proven track record of academic achievement and continuous improvement.
2-5 years of professional experience (not limited to the financial services industry) with a track record of success.
A willingness to work towards a professional designation (CFA, CPA or equivalent qualifications), or in possession of one.
What We Offer
The annual base salary for this position will be between $65,000 and $75,000 per year excluding benefits. The total compensation package also includes a discretionary bonus.
