You’re a creative powerhouse with a passion for motion design and animation. You’re not just good with the tools you master them, especially After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite.
You’re equally comfortable learning and working with emerging new tools such as Spline and Rive, and generative AI platforms like Midjourney and Runway to push the boundaries of your craft.
You keep yourself on the cutting edge, always learning about the latest technologies, tools, and trends in motion graphics and video production.
You have a sharp eye for design, a deep understanding of composition and movement, and an unrelenting desire to innovate and improve.
Most importantly, you’re constantly curious and self-driven, with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge in motion design and animation.

The Hard Work
This role is a mix of creativity and production. It requires constant innovation and a high level of attention to detail across a wide spectrum of projects.
You’ll need to be able to juggle multiple projects at once, often under tight deadlines. Flexibility is key, as you’ll need to adapt quickly and be willing to learn and embrace new tools and techniques, especially in AI.
Being organized, able to collaborate effectively, and thriving under pressure are essential to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities Include :
- You will be the animation lead, reporting to the Director of Strategy, advising, supporting or executing on all things motion.
- Develop storyboards and design concepts for brand storytelling and product promotional content.
- Edit and animate video footage, graphics, and audio to create cohesive, compelling content.
- Work with other freelancers and videographers to produce motion work.
- Design and produce high-quality motion graphics and video for digital platforms, including websites, social media, presentations, and more.
- Create visually stunning and dynamic animations, including 2D / 3D animations, typography animations, explainer videos, GIFs, and other engaging formats.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design ideas, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
- Edit raw video footage and incorporate effects and elements to enhance the final product.
- Ensure all content is aligned with company guidelines, meets deadlines, and adheres to design standards.
- Supporting the Associate Art Director on additional design initiatives as needed.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of professional experience in motion design.
- Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Proficiency with Figma.
- Proficiency with web native animation tools like Spline and Rive.
- Not required, but generalist 3D design and animation experience and proficiency.
- A strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital design and video production.
- Proficiency with AI tools like Midjourney, Runway, Flux, Comfy UI, or Stable Diffusion.
- Strong design sensibility, complemented by exceptional motion design skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret and negotiate briefs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
