Description
- TheMAG Accessibility Validation resource is needed to assist all ofMAG with proper Accessibility testing and assistance for all MAGWebsites / applications and documents including the CDT InitiativeCAMP Case Centre etc.
- Accessibility testing will need to be done onvarious MAG applications as well as assistance to the CDT Team asthey move forward with configuring the new digital justice solutionand has a functional test environment for the new solution there isan urgent need to test the new solution for accessibilitycompliance.
We are seeking an FFS resource who can test and reporton accessibility compliance for the following deliverables ofCDT :
- 1. Online application that is publicfacing : Public Portal and Case Center
- 2. Onlineapplication that is internal facing for CSD and Court staff : CTrack
- 3. Training and other change managementresources to support positive adoption of the new technology : videos; power point presentations;
pdf documents for process maps;word files for manuals tip sheets posters brochures; online formsusing MS Forms Slido orEasyRetro
Given the public facingcomponents full compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians withDisabilities Act (AODA) WCAG 2.1 will be a minimum standard.
This position iscurrently listed as Onsite; however the Assignment under thisrequest will provisionally be Hybrid working 7.
25 hours percalendar day sometime between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 00 PM (excludingbreaks) Monday to Friday inclusive unless otherwise identified.
These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on itscurrent situation. During the duration of the assignment you willbe under the discretion of the Hiring Managers requirements for theProject you are assigned to.
Scope
The contractor will be conducting accessibilitytesting for various applications websites documents PDFsetc.
AssignmentDeliverables
- The contractor will provide full 3 part3partAccessibility methodology (manual automated and assistivetechnology) and provide the detailed reports to the endusers
- The contractor will meet with end usersto walk them through the Accessibility testing results and explainthe issues and possible remediation plans
- Thecontractor will provide expert advice on WCAG 2.1 to developersvendors and end users.
- The contractor will beavailable to meet and answer all questions from clients vendors endusers etc.

provide practical technicalinput to accessible applications design development and testingthat adheres to OPS accessibility standard and recommend andarrange technical training for staff.
