Job description3+ years of experience as an air compressor field service mechanic or Millwright Appropriate Electromechanical degree or training Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and / or pneumatics Excellent English communication skills and the ability to diffuse customer complaints by phone, email, or in-person Good physical shape and able to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending and kneeling Able to work overtime Though this is typically a Mon-Fri role, the ability to occasionally travel up to 3 weeks away from home (in such situations a daily LOA and paid accommodation will be provided) 35.00 - $47.00 hourly A unionized role with an excellent compensation package based on experience, including a flexible benefits plan and a generous retirement plan including 4.5% direct contribution Opportunities for overtime in a typically Mon-Fri role Benefits from Day 1 A learning culture not limited to individual learning opportunities, a culture of healthy feedback, and face-to-face training sessions Competitive time-off vacation plan Company vehicle, laptop and cell phone
Agilus is recruiting for Regional Service Technicians in the Air Compressor Rental Industry in Langley and the Kelowna / Vernon region, British Columbia.
The Regional Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing oil-free air rental equipment in the field.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain air compressor equipment in the field
- Repair equipment in the field and at customer locations
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
- Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
- Improve measurable success to business targets
- Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software
