Job Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and upkeep of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure machinery is operating at peak efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
  • Analyze mechanical failures, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process optimization.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, championing our commitment to responsible operations.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • 1 to 2 years of professional experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Geographically mobile and flexible to work in various locations as required.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (Spanish, French, Arabic, and / or Portuguese, are an asset.
