We are currently interviewing Break Press Operator to join our team.
Location : Oakville
Pay Rate : up to $28 / hour depending on experience
Shift : Monday to Thursday, afternoons : 2PM to 12am

Daily Responsibilities :
- Must be able to effectively read and interpret blueprints / schematics to perform accurate set-ups
- Able to interpret precise measuring instruments. (radius gages, vernier, height stand) to check
products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
Able to set-up machines based on job requirements, using fixtures, backstop adjustments, ram
adjustments etc.
- Able to make adjustments to programs and tooling to produce quality product
- Able to load / unload tooling and set-up equipment
- Must have good communication skills excellent command of the English language
- Ability to train and mentor new and existing staff in the brake press department
- Mathematically inclined
- Problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of Cincinnati and Pacific brake presses an asset
Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma good Math and Mechanical Drawing skills.
- 3 years of experience.
- Experience with forklift, jib / overhead cranes is an asset
- Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including
regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs.
- Ability to work safe and independently within a fast-paced environment.
- Written and oral communication in English.
