Title : Floor Covering Installer
Location : Ontario
Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in installing various types of floor coverings, including carpet, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood.
The candidate should possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
This role requires a commitment to quality and safety standards in all installation projects.
Responsibilities :
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated area.
- Prepare and clean surfaces to ensure proper installation.
- Install various types of flooring, including carpet, tile, and hardwood.
- Use tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards at all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction with the installation.
- Provide support and direction to less experienced installers.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Requirements :
- Required hours : 6,000 hours per year of Full time employment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in floor covering installation.
- Strong knowledge of flooring materials and installation techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
