Your responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Initiatives, the Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives plans, initiates and manages projects related to the development and optimization of secure transportation and cash management solutions in an expanding and growing business context;
both at the corporate and customer relationship levels. He / she must also orchestrate and guide the work of the personnel involved, serve as a liaison between departments and the various project stakeholders, plan the project stages and evaluate the implications of each partner for each stage and monitor progress.
Specifically, you will be responsible to :
- Manage, develop and gain alignment on project scopes;
- Develop and maintain project plans to manage resource conflicts, task dependencies, and critical paths;
- Manage change requests, incorporate them into the plan, and assign them to appropriate resources;
- Lead meetings and influence colleagues across a cross functional organization to accomplish tasks within agreed upon timelines;
- Manage multiple, simultaneous projects and report the status of each project weekly to an executive steering committee;
- Identify issues, drive resolutions, and manage escalation process;
- Analyze data to derive sustainable solutions to internal or external issues, driven by a structured deployment strategy;
- Establish and execute a project communication plan;
- Prepare status reports for stakeholders by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or other relevant field, PMP certification an asset;
- Minimum 3 years of revelant experience directly managing cross-functional projects;
- Bilingualism : French and English (spoken and written);
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite;
- Experience with Smartsheet an asset;
- Analytical mind and good management of numerical data;
- Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions;
- Autonomy and Leadership - Ability to function with minimal supervision and take initiative;
- Adaptability / Flexibility - Be able to adapt quickly to new tasks and challenges;
