Project Managers work in collaboration with sales / demand team, internal production and validation teams, external manufacturers, packagers and raw material suppliers to achieve the objective of optimizing our supply chain or launching new products in new markets.

To achieve their objectives, the project managers are expected to use project management expertise, business knowledge and understand the importance of meeting projects milestones, feasibility and profitability from business case to delivery.

The Project Manager is responsible that effective communication is maintained, and project status reports and monthly progress reports are provided both internally and externally.

Responsabilities & Duties :

  • Monitor project scope, schedule and costs to ensure all remain on track with contract and financial performance objectives.
  • Initiate and implement appropriate actions to proactively manage the change control process both internally and externally.
  • Minimize project risks to ensure a positive outcome with internal / external partners and internal customers, and develop contingency plan options to prevent or resolve unforeseen project issues.
  • Compile and manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and quality of regulatory data.
  • Act as escalation point for project issues to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate, and proactively identify and resolve issues / conflicts as required.
  • Understand project delivery strategy, cost assumptions and resulting budget for assigned projects.
  • Establish / implement standard project reporting procedures for communication to customers and management (i.e. minutes, agendas).
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by effectively managing expectations and maintaining a healthy relationship.
  • Participate in the preparation of business plans for approval by the management team.
  • Assist and guide team members to drive a consistent approach across projects.
  • Share best practices with the project management team and project support teams to foster continuous improvement.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams without having a direct management function. Influence without authority

  • Ability to build strong relationship
  • Ability to anticipate problems and propose solutions (Risk Management)
  • Ability to work under stress and to set priorities
  • Financial skills to be able to analyze business cases & Manage project budget
  • Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Solid organizational skills, teamwork, leadership and project management
  • A positive approach to change and proven aptitude for initiative and innovation
  • Time management and effective communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of Project Portfolio Management software (EX : Sciforma, Smartsheet etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of GMP : solid, semi-solid, liquid dosages manufacturing & packaging, Sterile product is an asset
  • Bilingual (French and English)
