What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Take charge of our sales team, inspiring and guiding them to success.
- Drive rental revenue and profit objectives to new heights.
- Track and Improve : Monitor sales performance against plan, conduct regular sales meetings, and initiate impactful sales campaigns.
- Manage rental rates and continuously strive to improve rate and utilization.
- Maintain close communication with branch operations personnel to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
- Assist the Credit Department in their collection efforts.
- Collaborate with Fleet Management to pursue lucrative equipment sales opportunities.
- Keep everyone in the loop by reporting monthly on key sales activities and outcomes against the plan.
- Develop sales strategies for key market segments, contributing to the company’s overall growth.
- Become highly involved in our marketing strategy through networking events, social media, and industry campaigns.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Minimum 3 years in the construction equipment rental industry or equivalent, with at least 6 years of Sales Management experience.
- Strong time management, presentation, and negotiating skills.
- Broad knowledge of construction equipment.
- A business undergraduate degree would be a significant asset.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Availability to travel regularly throughout the region; this is primarily a field-driven position.
- Very good problem-solving skills.
