Mission
The Scale Operator is responsible for helping to carry out the daily operational and administrative tasks associated with the use of the scale.
The incumbent of this position is responsible for using the scales, the scale computer and software programs, performing data entry and maintaining records.
This position also requires sorting and recording incoming loads at the weigh booth and directing vehicles entering and leaving the facility.

Shift Information
Summer : 5 : 00 a.m. - 1 : 30 p.m. Monday to Friday
Winter : 6 : 00 a.m. - 2 : 30 p.m. Monday to Friday
Main Responsibilities
- General maintenance, storage
- Product packaging (filling barrels, boxes, seals, etc.)
- Production assistance - Polymer products
- Loading / unloading trucks - Packed
- Production assistance - Preparation of solutions
- Immersion tanks
- Forklift driving
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable working manually as well as with tools;
- Fluency in French;
- Fluency in English is an asset;
- Obtaining a high school diploma;
- Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and staff;
- Able to work the majority of the time standing and outdoors;
- Able to lift, pull and push items up to 50 lbs;
- Computer skills are an asset.
