Homewood Ravensview is a private 75-bed mental health, trauma and addiction facility offering evidence-based, medically-led, inpatient services for first responders, military, veterans, executives & professionals, adults, and young adults.

As a Food Service Worker, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.
What you'll be doing
- Portion out and serve food and beverages within a dining room and / or cafeteria operation
- Make beverages and food items such as tea, coffee, and toast; assemble items such as sandwiches and salads
- Wash, peel, store and prepare vegetables and fruit
- Prepare items such as meat, fish and poultry by grinding, flouring and breading, etc.
- Prepare food items such as sandwich fillings and salads by combining, mixing, and / or blending ingredients; measure, mix, grate and / or blend food ingredients
- Adhere to all Health / Safety regulations for proper food handling, personal hygiene & proper use of all equipment
- Wash items such as dishes, pots, pans and utensils; operate dishwashing and / or pot washing machines
- Stack clean dishes and utensils; set, clear and clean dining tables
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing counter tops, sinks, machines and equipment and spot washing walls and splash areas
- Clean, operate and maintain equipment according to safety, health and sanitation laws, guidelines and standards
What we're looking for
- One year of food service experience
- Food Safe Level 1
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Knowledge and application of Health and Safety procedures pertaining to food and equipment
- Effective communication and good organizational skills
- Ability to provide speedy, efficient, courteous and tactful customer service while you work with other staff and function in a team environment
- Willingness to multitask, work effectively under pressure and flexible hours when necessary
