Your role
As Technical Producer, you will be responsible for managing the human, technical and physical resources required for news productions.
You will also be in charge of planning, directing, organizing and monitoring those resources. Additionally, you will represent management on internal production sites.
Please note this an on call position.
We are looking for a candidate with the following :
Community college diploma in audiovisual studies, communications or other appropriate field, or equivalent combination of education / experience
Five (5) years’ production experience
Three (3) years experience in team or staff management
Understanding of digital production
Extensive knowledge of production operations and technical tools required for news production
Personnel management skills
Project management skills
Solid command of health and safety standards
Client-service skills
Good team player
Good knowledge of spoken and written French
Proficiency in English an asset
