Role
Reporting to the Manager, Supply Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the supply logistics of various terminals in Eastern Canada.
The coordinator will also be responsible for managing the railcar fleet and empty railcars.
Responsabilities
- Manage gasoline / distillate supply activities and inventories at the marine Eastern terminals.
- Coordinate import / export marine mouvements.
- Coordinate the resolution of supply issues at marine terminals.
- Plan and optimize the use of available means of transportation to supply Eastern terminal by marine.
- Ensure product quality management for marine terminals and lead efforts to resolve quality issues if required for marine movements.
- Manage all aspects of conventional railcar and train fleets (agreements, maintenance, requirements, rental invoices) and optimize empty railcars management.
- Manage the execution of LPG contracts and work closely with LPG Sales representative.
- Act as the primary contact within the Procurement group for conventional tank car requests and maintain regular contact with Valero's rail transportation service.
- Review and analyze sales data. Prepare product demand forecasts and logistics requirements.
- Complete administrative tasks related to invoicing and monthly reconciliation of invoices payable to railways company and private storage costs.
- Provide ad hoc reports or analyses at senior management’s request.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (business related, engineering or logistics)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual - French and English (spoken and written)
- Experience in petroleum industry, a strong asset
- Strong Excel & SAP / SAP BW knowledge, an asset
- Strong team player
- Initiative and leadership
- Creative problem solving skills, under pressure
- Analytical skills
- Communication and negotiation skills

The individual in this position will be required to review documents and interact both verbally and in writing with colleagues at the head office in Texas or in other Canadian provinces, or with various stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, unilingual anglophone business partners.
