We are seeking a Sales Executive on the West Coast for Oracle's Financial Services Global Industry Unit.
Who we are :
The Financial Services Global Industry Unit (FSGIU) provides software solutions for Core Banking, Trading, Payments, Risk and Compliance, Analytics, Revenue Management and Billing, Private Wealth Management, Cash & Asset Management, also Lending & Leasing products to enterprise customers across the globe.
The role :
In this role, you will be selling our solutions to a portfolio of large enterprise financial services accounts generally within a geographic territory.
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software / solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers.
Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.
Participate in the development, presentation and sale of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in areas of required specialization associated with the solutions being sold.
10 years applicable experience within the financial services industry, preferably commercial and / or retail banking, including at least 7 years of direct, quota carrying sales experience with application software solutions.
Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and / or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors.
Proven ability to interact with C level client and internal stakeholders. Team player with strong interpersonal / communication skills.
Excellent communication / negotiating / closing skills with prospects / customers. Travel will be required. Bachelor degree or equivalent educational experience.

Canada : Hiring Range from $117,600 to $218,000 CAD per annum
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
