We are seeking a Coordinator to support our Content & Marketing team. In this role, you will be contributing to the development of all marketing and communications activities to increase the visibility and impact for all CFA product lines and our brands.
Your day-to-day involves equal parts planning and execution. Some projects will be long-term (like marketing campaigns for our shows, blogs, and podcasts), and others will be daily and weekly (social media, newsletters, and website updates);
no matter what you are working on, you are capable to manage deadlines, and you have a tireless attention to detail.
You will be involved in all integrated marketing campaigns and will employ exceptional organization skills, fabulous marketing talents, and eagle-eyed attention to detail to help move forward our marketing and communications projects.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :
- Create and distribute email marketing communications via the Marketing Automation Tool
- Create and execute on social media communications including creating graphics / videos, writing copy, and scheduling content
- Maintain and facilitate updates of franchise company listings for publication and websites
- Assist in development, writing, and editing of content for a range of products including CFA websites, publications, marketing, and corporate communications
- Assist in media relations campaigns, including drafting of press releases, backgrounders, articles, event listings, etc.
- Respond to and redirect enquiries by telephone and email
- Provide administrative support to the Content & Marketing department
- Attend and assist at CFA events as required (some evenings and weekends)
- Assist in special projects and other tasks as assigned
- Assist in the creation of product / brand training and sales materials for sales representatives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements :
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar marketing communications role, preferably in a membership-based or B2B organization
- Post-secondary graduate in marketing, public relations, communications, or comparable field
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- A strong sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
- Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills, responsive to flexible and evolving responsibilities, and changing environment
- Excellent organizational, some project management skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional command of English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of the social media, online, and traditional marketing channels
- Computer savvy (Marketing Automation tools, Trello, Microsoft 365, and more)
- Ability to write clear and concise market-driven positioning statements, value propositions, and product requirements and specifications.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience using digital email marketing, social media, online, and traditional marketing channels
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media strategy, and content marketing (written, video, infographic, etc.)
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate
- Solid knowledge of web and social analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with CRM databases (Salesforce preferred)
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
This a full-time contract position. It does not include benefits.
The position requires daily regular work hours but also requires the individual to work extended hours and weekends, as required.

The CFA office is located in Toronto on the Mississauga / Toronto border near Pearson International Airport, with access by highway and public transit (Mississauga and Toronto). Free parking.
Currently a hybrid office model (subject to change in future).
