Position : HR DirectorLocation : Saint-Laurent office working on site with flex hoursPerks : Competitive salary + bonus and full benefits Job Summary : The HR Director provides strategic direction and leadership in all aspects of human resources management for a dynamic, high-growth organization with approximately 120 employees in Canada, around 20 in the US and a global workforce spread across various countries.
This role reports to the Vice President and will have five direct reports in Human Resources. Key Responsibilities : Strategic HR Leadership : - Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Partner with the executive team to influence organizational decision-making and strategic planning.- Analyze workforce data and trends to inform talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies.
Talent Management & Development : - Lead the design and execution of leadership development programs, succession planning, and talent management processes.
Oversee performance management systems to drive a high-performance culture.- Develop strategies for employee engagement, retention, and career development.
Employee Relations & Engagement : - Ensure a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering employee engagement and open communication.
Serve as a point of escalation for complex employee relations issues and manage conflict resolution.- Oversee employee satisfaction surveys and implement initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
Compensation & Benefits : - Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits strategies that align with the organization's goals- Ensure market competitiveness through regular benchmarking and analysis of salary structures and benefit offerings.
Compliance & Risk Management : - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.- Oversee the administration of HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Manage risk by maintaining and improving health, safety, and wellness initiatives.Change Management : - Lead organizational change efforts, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructures.
- Drive employee communication and engagement during periods of organizational transformation.Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) : - Develop and lead initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the company.
- Ensure that the company's hiring, promotion, and compensation practices are equitable and inclusive.HR Team Leadership : - Mentor and develop the HR team to ensure professional growth and alignment with company goals.
- Ensure that HR team members are up-to-date with best practices and evolving HR trends.Requirements : - BA degree and / or formal education in Human Resources or a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of labor laws, CSST, and leadership principles.- Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, including at least 2 years at the HR Director level in a similar role managing a team of around 5 employees across multiple locations.
- Knowledge of CSST claims, HR legal matters, employee training programs / KPIs, and employer branding skills.- Personality traits : self-starter with decision-making capabilities, professionalism, organization, positive attitude, team spirit, strong leadership skills, and comfort in a multicultural environment.
