8- 12) schools and other educational programs, and employs approximately 400 staff. Qualifications Possesses, or eligible for, B.C. professional teaching certificate. Level A Interprovincial Red Seal Welding certification.
Ten years experience teaching welding in an educational setting. Current knowledge of the province's welding curriculum along with a strong industry background.
Experience with program and curriculum development and be familiar with CWB and ASME codes and standards. Supervisory experience;
leadership qualities; good interpersonal skills; good oral and written skills; and a working knowledge of computers. Current First Aid Certification.
Salary The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $61,415 to $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
