We are seeking a talented individual to join our Applications Development team at Marsh McLennan as an AEM Lead Developer This role will be based in Toronto.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role will provide technical guidance in the end-to-end design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products and services.
You will be esponsible for meeting development schedules and delivering high quality solutions that meet technical specifications and design requirements and managing the design, develop and implementation of new software development, enhancement efforts and software testing with other technologies.

Be a recognized expert in AEM software-based solutions & technologies.
Provide technical leadership in sophisticated AEM-centric digital marketing solutions.
Lead solution architecture design, guide and mentor teams to develop high quality solutions.
Architect and Design scalable solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Liaises with Senior Leadership on project, operational, compliance and risk governance.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and solve issues.
Drive the continuous improvement of delivery methodology and planning guidance.
Efficiently multi-task, working across multiple client engagements at the same time as well as key internal initiatives.
Enforce coding standards and participates in peer code reviews.
Effectively analyze complex project issues, identify the possible solution options, and facilitate the presentation and review of the options and our recommended solution with the client.
Proactively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by staying ahead of Adobe technologies.
Perform under minimal supervision and peer accountability on complex assignments.
What you need to have :
7 to 10 years of proven experience with a record of successfully delivering global and highly scalable customer-facing digital products and capabilities.
Provide guidance, leadership in planning, and other delivery process activities and implement engagements following the Agile methodology including SCRUM.
Proficiency of Object-Oriented Programming Methodology & Practice, ideally with designing and programming of applications using Object Oriented Programming Methodology applying Java language constructs.
Excellent understanding of AEM product suite and Adobe Experience Cloud, including Analytics and Target.
2+ years experience in development and migration from other CMS platforms to AEM.
Extensive experience with REST API design and implementation.
Experience in leveraging continuous integration and robust build / test automation, with a preference for cross platform stacks (Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, JUnit, SonarQube).
Strong analytical skills to be able to manage complex problems using a number of techniques.
Experience in complex software product delivery in an agile environment.
Exposure to public cloud technology stack in AWS.
Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well in a highly collaborative, virtual team-based environment.
What makes you stand out?
Knowledge in the Sling or OSGi frameworks, JCR API, RESTful principles or ExtJS framework
Exposure to the latest AEM Cloud Service is a plus.
Solid understanding of all Adobe AEM building blocks, including templates, components, dialogs, widgets etc., and the AEM development and deployment process
Ability to write / manage Dispatcher configurations, including rewrite rules
