Job Summary
Scottsdale Community College has an immediate need to hire four (4) highly motivated part-time employees for a 3-month project (August, September, October 2024).
The Contact Center Representative will provide a range of support service functions within the SCC Contact Center.Encourage and assist new and prospective students through the Enrollment Process.
Assist with all aspects of using the website, self-service functions, and applying for financial aid (FAFSA).Participate in enrollment and retention campaigns to prospective and continuing students via phone, chat, messaging, email, and in-person.
Utilize Student Information System & designated tracking software.
Utilizes a wide knowledge base of campus / district policies and procedures in this fast-paced, high-volume environment to assist students, parents, colleagues regarding the various student services functions.
Position works with all populations including current students, returning students, high school students in designated campus programs, and students from diverse social and cultural backgrounds along with a diverse population of administrators, faculty, and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Customer Service / Contact Center experience in an educational setting or other high volume environment
- Basic computer skills including experience with data entry, databases, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems, student Information systems, Microsoft Office and / or Google Docs
- Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to demonstrate attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience assisting customers in using online resources
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties on a daily basis
