Job Description
Positions : We are thrilled to now be embarking on an expanded geographic model of practice and we are recruiting locum physicians to help care for the population in our region.
Requirements
- A minimum 6-month commitment working at least six half days a week.
- Pay is $500 per half day plus 3rd party billings.
- There are potential financial incentives for locum physicians willing to commit to a longer term.
Supports include :
- Nursing support with inbox management; only abnormal results are forwarded to MDs
- Nursing triage of appointments
- Potential for no After Hours Clinic (unless additional hours desired)
- Medical assistants to room patients, including dealing with preventative care, vital signs, vaccinations, etc.

Greenwood Medical Centre is a capitated Family Health Organization on the East End of Kingston. There are 6 permanent family doctors at our site along with nursing staff and specialists.
We are located in the same plaza as a pharmacy, Kingston Medical Imaging, Breast Imaging Kingston, and the Kingston Orthopedic Pain Clinic, as well as physiotherapy, orthotics, and brace care.
