Role : Manager, Operations
What You Will Do :
- Manage operation through proper forecasts and standardized operational processes which promote efficiencies and cost saving measures in all areas of the business.
- Drive standardized processes through coaching, monitoring, development and ensure colleague compliance.
- Performance management through coaching and if necessary, disciplinary actions.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of the team and proactively deal with issues as they arise and support consistency through all shifts.
- Review inbound / outbound volumes in department and develop caps which support the outbound activity.
- Evaluate performance of Senior Supervisors or Supervisors and provide necessary feedback and coaching to achieve targets.
- Encourage a safe and positive work culture that engages colleagues.
- Foster positive employee relations, drive positive engagement to make the DC a great place to work.
- Ensure customers receive outstanding customer service in terms of service level, and on time deliveries,
- Work with the General Manager in the development and control of the annual operating budget
What You Will Need :
- 5 to 7 years in a warehouse operations supervisory experience preferred
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain management or equivalent experience
- Strong ability to motivate and develop colleagues
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize competing demands, and a heavy workload
- Computer skills, including MS office programs, WMS and other related systems required
