Zurich Canada is looking for a Quality Assurance Lead with experience in managing quality assessment processes for Insurance platforms like Guidewire Policy Center and Claim Center.

The selected candidate will lead a team of dedicated Onshore and Offshore quality analysts, operating in liaison with the assigned project team as well as business stakeholders to standardize an effective test process spanning across all major test areas, including Functional, Integration, and Regression testing, Automation, Performance & Security tests following an Agile model well within the defined project timelines.

Candidate will also be expected to work with QA manager to assess the quality standards for QA teams associated with all active projects across the organization & support in maintaining an efficient quality assessment practice.

What you will do :

Lead / participate in various Agile ceremonies, including Sprint planning, Daily Scrums, Defect triage, Sprint Demo & Retrospective.

Work with the QA teams to identify the most suitable Automation framework, Performance tools, and Security scanners for the desired projects.

Prepare Exit Report & provide sign-off on Test completion.

Supports Business Users' training and cross-training of all active QA teams.

Work closely with the QA manager to explore and introduce new strategies, tools, and solution accelerators, ensuring an effective test practice across the organization.

Assist the QA manager in educating different groups across the organization on QA best practices & standards.

What you will bring to the table :

Job Qualifications : Required :

Required :

Bachelor's Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Systems Testing area.

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Systems Testing area.

2 or more years of functional and integration testing experience in Guidewire Suite

Preferred :

Insurance domain knowledge / experience.

Experience in specialized test areas like Automation, Performance, API Testing & ELT.

Experience in working in Agile model and handling Agile tools like JIRA, X-Ray etc.

Experience in managing / operating in Onshore-Offshore team models.

Excellent organization and planning skills.

Excellent communication skills.
