partner staffing onbehalf of our Client is looking for a highly motivated Senior MechanicalEngineer. You will play a key role in the design development anddelivery of mechanical systems for commercial and mixeduseprojects.

You will work closely with architects structuralengineers and other stakeholders to ensure that our projects meetthe highest standards of efficiency sustainability andfunctionality.

Requirements

KeyResponsibilities :

Leadthe design of mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fireprotection for commercial and mixeduse buildings.

Ensure designsmeet client specifications regulatory requirements and industrybestpractices.

Overseemultiple projects simultaneously managing all phases from conceptdesign through construction and commissioning.

Ensure projects arecompleted on time within scope and withinbudget.

• Providetechnical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers anddesigners. Review and approve design drawings calculations andspecifications.
• Workclosely with multidisciplinary teams including architectselectrical engineers and contractors to integrate mechanicalsystems into overall project designs.

Participate in coordinationmeetings and contribute to integrated designprocesses.

• Incorporatesustainable design principles into mechanical system designs.Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and environmentallyresponsiblesolutions.
• Serveas the primary mechanical engineering point of contact for clients.Present design concepts provide technical advice and address clientconcerns throughout the projectlifecycle.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. A Master s degreeor specialized training in building systems engineering is anasset.
• Minimumof 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus oncommercial and mixeduseprojects.
• Proficientin mechanical design software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit and HVAC designtools)
• Strongunderstanding of mechanical system design energy modeling andsustainabilityprinciples.
• ProfessionalEngineer (P.Eng) designation in British Columbia isrequired.
