This role sits within Laurentian Bank. The incumbent will report to the Assistant Vice President, Product Development and Management.
He or she will primarily be responsible for serving as a product expert to optimize and diversify product portfolios, while ensuring sustained growth and efficient management of the daily operations of transactional networks.
The incumbent will develop innovative strategies to strengthen our product offering, meet changing customer needs, and contribute to marketing efforts.

Responsibilities
- Provide market analysis expertise for transactional deposit products, conducting any necessary research to make recommendations on new or existing products.
- Help develop and maintain a database to analyze products in terms of market potential, relevance and competitive differentiation.
- Act as an expert advisor, supporting senior managers by identifying emerging trends that have an impact on our business activities or product performance.
- Manage daily reports, pricing changes, and related communications.
- Analyze the performance of transactional products such as bank accounts and banking plans and make recommendations to help achieve targets and support the Bank’s growth in personal banking, business-to-business, and digital.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure that department procedures, projects, and practices evolve accordingly.
- Review, develop and optimize product performance dashboards.
- Engage in the execution of marketing campaigns, including ideation, execution, and performance reports.
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in a related field
- At least 6 years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of the banking industry and banking trends
- Experience in financial services, transactional deposit products, or bank accounts an asset
- Demonstrated experience with market evaluations, financial analysis, business case development, product pricing, new product design, and planning
- General proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated and results-driven personality with strong leadership, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think creatively and strategically in order to challenge the status quo
- Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills in French and English an asset*
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while respecting set timelines
- Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
