We are seeking a Business Analyst Lead with a results-driven mindset to contribute to a range of key initiatives including building a IFRS9 Modernization, platform, and data modernization, and enhancing our reporting and analytics solutions to support Credit Risk Management.

This is a good opportunity to gain exposure to risk management, cloud computing and data analytics.

The role :

As a lead Business Solutions Expert, you will be accountable for working with the Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of key initiatives and deliver high quality results that are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Demonstration of leadership and solid business analysis skills are required in order to provide expert advise and collaborate with business partners and developers to drive a design, and development of high-quality technical solutions.

Effective leadership and establishing best practices are expected for leading a high-performing team of business analysts.

Is this role right for you?

  • Project Lead : Plan, execute, and oversee the development of multiple projects and complex initiatives to support Credit Risk Management and work closely with PM to and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Subject Matter Expertise : As a Subject Matter Expert, you will be expected to provide insight and contribute towards cross-functional projects, while collaborating with various teams to help address complex questions as needed.
  • Technical Requirements : You will be accountable for translating high-level business and user requirements into functional & IT Technical requirements with appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those who must base their work & development on the requirements.
  • Develop test strategy and execute end-to-end testing to ensure requirements are met.
  • Effective Liaison : A trusted ally that bridges the gap between the business needs and technical solution.
  • Lead high performing team : Responsible for the coaching and mentoring of team, establishing best practices to achieve result.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

Must have :

  • Technical Aptitude and Curiosity : Strong knowledge of SQL, Python and other data analytics tools are essential to independently perform detailed analysis, and having curiosity to learn new technologies that enhance / improve and optimize current state.
  • Innovative / Creative problem solving : Devise creative solutions to complex problems, and openness to exploring fresh perspectives to address challenges.
  • Results-focused : A keen eye to details and asking the right questions to take your projects to the next level.
  • Self - Motivated : You're a self-starter and take pride in producing high quality results. You are also able to simplify complex situations and navigate ambiguity.
  • Excellent Communication - written and verbal : You are great at making sure everyone's speaking the same language and are on the same page, and sometimes that involves some give and take.
  • Team Player : You enjoy collaborating with, learning from, and teaching others so we all become better.
  • Education : bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering or Computer Science degree, and pride yourself on analysis, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant Experience : 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a challenging IT system solution environment.

Preferred :

  • Retail credit risk or financial risk experience is a nice to have.
  • Previous work as Lead Technical Business Analyst
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud best practices
