Job Description
The House of Commons’ Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Services is currently looking to staff the Coordinator, Business Management Services position.
As the Coordinator, Business Management Services, you will provide leadership, and guidance in the provision of administrative support services for many of the SAA-CS security program offerings to Members of Parliament as well as the management team of the House of Commons Administration.
In addition, this role is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining processes, manuals, templates, controls and administrative tools that enable the efficient delivery of security programs.
Within this role, you will act as a leader within a fast-paced environment. You possess strong organizational and time management skills and have the ability to adapt to constantly changing demands with tact and diplomacy.
You are knowledgeable in procurement processes and are a strong negotiator and problem solver. You will communicate with various high-level clients and utilize your strong customer service skills and critical thinking in order to resolve client concerns effectively.
Business Management Services is responsible for providing critical corporate management services such as. strategic,, financial, human resources and operational planning;
monitoring, evaluation and policy coordination. This team is a corporate change agent that continuously enhances the SAA-CS’s business performance and management practices.

Qualifications
Education :
Completion of post-secondary diploma in a related field OR an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience.
Experience :
- 3-5 years of experience in leading, training and / or coordinating a team as well as negotiating with suppliers to resolve challenging issues
- Experience prioritizing workloads with high-volume demands;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in reviewing budget requirements, monitoring and tracking expenditures and proposing courses of action;
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including participation in working groups and committees;
- Experience delivering exceptional customer service including resolving client situations;
- Experience in conducting analysis, manipulating and extracting data from automated systems to create reports and provide to management.
Assets :
Completion of Excel trainings of intermediate level or higher.
