YOUR ROLE :
- Ensure end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines;
- Act as the main point of contact to inform employees about benefits and collective agreements;
- Ensure timely processing of government remittances, deductions, and other required data, including insurance and retirements plans;
- Efficiently produce government reports and forms necessary for monthly or yearly payroll processing;
- Ensure compliance of the payroll and benefits process with internal laws and regulations;
- Actively participate in various related tasks to contribute to the smooth operation of the team;
- Any other related task as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Degree in a relevant field;
- Solid experience in payroll management, with in-depth knowledge of processes and regulations related to benefits;
- Proficiency in payroll management software and the Microsoft suite;
- Member of the Canadian Payroll Association (an asset);
- Strong communication skills, in French and English, to effectively interact with employees;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines and priorities;
- Ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team;
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of precision.
