YOUR ROLE :

  • Ensure end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines;
  • Act as the main point of contact to inform employees about benefits and collective agreements;
  • Ensure timely processing of government remittances, deductions, and other required data, including insurance and retirements plans;
  • Efficiently produce government reports and forms necessary for monthly or yearly payroll processing;
  • Ensure compliance of the payroll and benefits process with internal laws and regulations;
  • Actively participate in various related tasks to contribute to the smooth operation of the team;
  • Any other related task as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

  • Degree in a relevant field;
  • Solid experience in payroll management, with in-depth knowledge of processes and regulations related to benefits;
  • Proficiency in payroll management software and the Microsoft suite;
  • Member of the Canadian Payroll Association (an asset);
  • Strong communication skills, in French and English, to effectively interact with employees;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines and priorities;
  • Ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team;
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of precision.
