Your Role

As Social Media Manager, you’ll be at the center of Techo-Bloc’s social media efforts, responsible for driving engagement, increasing brand awareness, and managing a high-performing content calendar across multiple platforms. Reporting to the Head of Social Media & Community, you’ll collaborate with a talented creative team, manage campaigns from ideation to execution, and play a pivotal role in growing our Instagram and TikTok presence.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement platform-specific content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube;
  • Plan content 1 month ahead in alignment with broader marketing initiatives, ensuring a steady and consistent posting schedule;
  • Stay informed about industry trends and platform updates to ensure Techo-Bloc remains ahead of the curve;
  • Bring new ideas to the table, identifying opportunities to engage with the contractor community and elevate the brand;

Campaign Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of social media campaigns, from content ideation to publishing;
  • Coordinate with the Senior Content Creator, Video Content Creator, and Digital Designer to produce high-quality content;
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration, ensuring social content is aligned with marketing, email, and digital strategies;
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, using insights to optimize future campaigns;
  • Content Calendar & Workflow Management

  • Own the social media content calendar, ensuring posts are planned, approved, and scheduled in advance;
  • Manage workflow and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, ensuring smooth coordination with the creative team;
  • Oversee post-production workflows, ensuring all assets are delivered on time and meet brand guidelines;
  • Analytics & Optimization

  • Track key performance metrics, including engagement, follower growth, impressions, and reach;
  • Analyze post and campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement;
  • Apply learnings from previous posts to continuously optimize content and strategy;
  • Present monthly performance reports to the Head of Social Media & Community, highlighting key wins and areas for growth;
  • Community Engagement & Growth

  • Work closely with the Community Manager to foster an engaged and loyal online community;
  • Identify opportunities to interact with followers, industry influencers, and key voices to build relationships;
  • Support UGC (user-generated content) initiatives and community-driven campaigns;
  • Leadership & Team Collaboration

  • Mentor junior content creators and freelancers, providing guidance on best practices for content creation and platform management;
  • Organize team meetings to review performance, brainstorm new ideas, and ensure alignment with goals;
  • Collaborate with external partners, influencers, and ambassadors to amplify Techo-Bloc’s reach.
  • Qualifications

    Required Skills & Experience

  • Please provide a  portfolio  showcasing your best work, including posts or campaigns that exceeded expectations, went viral, or effectively engaged an online community—whether from professional accounts or personal projects;
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of growing and engaging audiences across platforms;
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, platform-specific trends, and social media best practices (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube);
  • Experience in planning and managing content calendars for multiple platforms;
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workflows, and meet deadlines;
  • Analytical mindset, with experience using social media analytics tools to track performance and optimize strategies;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally;
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and content planning tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the hardscape, construction, or design industry is a plus;
  • Experience managing influencer partnerships and UGC campaigns;
  • Strong creative instincts and the ability to give feedback on visual and video content.
