Bilingual Insurance Advisor (RIBO / OTL)
Our client in the insurance industry is looking for an experienced Bilingual Insurance Advisor to provide tailored home and auto insurance solutions.
In this role, you’ll assist new and existing customers, handle policy updates, quotes, and underwriting, while ensuring a world-class customer experience.
Strong sales skills, a focus on customer needs, and the ability to manage tasks independently are key to success in this position.
What is in it for you :
- Salary from $58.000 to $65.000, depending on your experience.
- Full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week).
- Monday to Friday : 8 : 00 am to 8 : 00 pm (rotating shifts).
- Saturday : 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm (1 Saturday per month).
- Hybrid work schedule : 3 in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Responsibilities :
- Understanding customer insurance needs and providing insurance solutions.
- Quote and Sell Insurance Home and Auto policies.
- Assist new customers with their Home and Auto insurance needs.
- Service existing customers by updating their policies no meet their changing needs and provide new products as required.
- Drive strong customer retention by providing a world class customer experience.
- Underwrite new business, policy endorsements and renewals by obtaining all necessary information from the customer relevant to pricing and risk analysis.
- Stay up to date on underwriting and regulatory guidelines.
What you will need to succeed :
- College Diploma or University Degree.
- Sales and customer service experience (mandatory).
- OTL licensed or RIBO licensed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer focused and ability to match products to customers needs.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize work.
- Strong computer skills ability to learn new software applications.
- Insurance sales / service underwriting experience an asset.
- Actively working towards CIP or FCIP designation an asset.
- Bilingual fluency in English and French (spoken and written) to support clients in both languages.
