Title : Sr. Data Systems Analyst
Location : Markham, Canada (3 days / onsite)
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document data requirements.
- Analyze user needs to create solutions that support business strategies.
- Support development and testing teams, triaging issues and handling BAU defects.
- Lead the development of documentation standards for data quality, governance, and metadata management.
- Drive best practices in data catalogs, governance, and data quality.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years in data systems analysis with expertise in enterprise data assets.
- Strong skills in SQL and data tools (Snowflake, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Experience with data governance and quality frameworks.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Suites and insurance knowledge is a plus.
