We are currently hiring for a HVAC Maintenance Technician. The Technician provides hands-on services for all types of HVAC maintenance.
Responsibilities
Performing Service Calls :
Respond promptly to service requests from residential customers.
Diagnose HVAC system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
Routine Maintenance :
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
Clean and replace filters, inspect coils, lubricate fans and motors, and check refrigerant levels.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics :
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
Test system components to ensure proper functioning.
Repair and Replacement :
Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and valves.
Perform system upgrades and installations as needed.
Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain accurate records of service visits, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
Complete service reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
Safety and Compliance :
Adhere to safety standards and procedures, including handling of refrigerants and following local codes and regulations.
Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and compliance with environmental regulations.
Qualifications
Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong communication skills and computer literacy
HVAC Tools required (Torches, Manifold Gauges, Multi-Meter, Hand Tools
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Proficient use of general power and hand tools
Valid Drivers License
5+ years of facility maintenance (hotels / resorts OR large commerical buildings)
