Cambridge Hyundai is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Sales Supervisor to join our team. As the Sales Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance.
Responsibilities :
- Hire, train, and supervise sales team and receptionists.
- Assign sales staff to duties and prepare weekly work schedules.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
- Lead and motivate sales associates to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and team performance.
- Sell merchandise to customers.
- Ensure that all customers and potential customers of the dealership are handled in a positive manner and in accordance with established procedures and guidelines while maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness.
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure a well-maintained and organized sales floor.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize stock levels based on sales demand.
- Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the management team to implement best practices and innovative approaches.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance and other relevant metrics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- 2-3 years’ experience in automotive dealership sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience leading a Sales team in a dealership, including effective coaching, mentoring and team development.
- Experience using VIN Solutions, CDK and DealerMine.
- Must have valid OMVIC license.
- Valid Ontario Drivers’ License, with clear drivers abstract.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive products and industry trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
- Prior experience with inventory management and sales analytics.
