Description

  • Develop and apply knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act, bilateral income tax treaties and Canadian tax jurisprudence
  • Research various tax-related issues
  • Assist in preparing corporate tax returns and other Canadian tax filings
  • Work collaboratively with the client engagement team
  • Communicate with the client and client engagement team
  • Set-up and help manage client files

Credentials

  • Completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Accounting or Finance major preferred)
  • Enrolled in the University of Waterloo Masters of Taxation program in good standing
  • Previous tax or accounting related office experience is an asset
  • Customer service and / or client service experience is desirable
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
