CIMA+Longueuil, Quebec, CanadaAt the heart of building mechanics projects youll work with our metropolitan area team on a variety of projects in the commercial residential industrial institutional and hospital sectors. This position offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and to be part of a team of engineers technicians and draftsmen working on stimulating projects. Youll also be part of a passionate team where initiative and trust are strongly encouraged.
We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement combining telecommuting and office work. If you have a bachelors degree in building services engineering with at least 5 years experience and are a member of the Ordre des ingnieurs du Qubec wed love to hear from you!
Main responsibilities
- Actively participate in the design and development of plans and specifications for building mechanical systems (ventilation air conditioning plumbing heating and cooling).
- Determine construction costs and quantities
- Conduct surveys and studies write technical reports
- Participate in the resolution of technical problems
- Write progress reports and contribute to the development of action plans
- Act as a resource person for the team
- Prepare and monitor fee budgets and make recommendations
- Participate in partial supervision of work
- Attend customer meetings.
