Le directeur ou la directrice principal(e), stratégie fabricants et information commerciale chez McKesson Canada est responsable d’élaborer la stratégie globale pour les fabricants biopharmaceutiques dans diverses catégories de produits. Cette personne se concentre sur l’élaboration de stratégies détaillées en tirant parti de l’information commerciale et coordonne les efforts du côté fabrication afin de rehausser la proposition de valeur et la position concurrentielle de l’organisation. En outre, cette personne dirige la coordination et la collaboration entre les diverses unités commerciales concernant les stratégies de fabrication, en plus d’influencer la position de McKesson Canada auprès des fabricants de médicaments génériques et en vente libre par l’entremise de McKesson Global Procurement & Sourcing (MGPS).

Responsabilités spécifiques

  • Diriger l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre de stratégies de fabrication pour McKesson Canada dans divers champs thérapeutiques et catégories de produits avec une attention particulière aux fabricants biopharmaceutiques de la marque.
  • Élaborer et maintenir un aperçu solide du pipeline afin d’anticiper les lancements de produits et les tendances du marché et d’en tirer profit.
  • Comprendre les dynamiques et les tendances du marché dans les champs thérapeutiques et leurs effets sur les catégories de produits.
  • Comprendre les besoins non comblés des fabricants, tant dans les segments de la clientèle qu’à l’échelle des fabricants individuels.
  • Évaluer les relations et les portefeuilles commerciaux actuels et combiner cette analyse à ses connaissances et perceptions du marché pour élaborer des stratégies spécifiques à chaque fabricant offrant des occasions de faire croître les relations d’une manière mutuellement bénéfique.
  • Collaborer avec des parties prenantes internes pour améliorer les communications, peaufiner les stratégies fabricants et assurer l’uniformisation et l’exécution de stratégies qui rehaussent la position concurrentielle de McKesson Canada. Au besoin, faciliter des processus pour permettre des compromis plus éclairés entre les équipes et les fabricants.
  • Appuyer les équipes du Service de la stratégie produit et des partenariats avec les fournisseurs (PSSP), principalement l’équipe de gestion de comptes, dans leur planification comptable et l’élaboration de stratégies par l’analyse pour déterminer les risques et les occasions. Participer aux réunions de partenaires et aux examens fonctionnels, à la demande.
  • Exprimer clairement la proposition de valeur de McKesson Canada aux fabricants d’une manière qui trouve un écho chez eux et expliquer de façon efficace les forces et capacités uniques de McKesson Canada.
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies pour élargir et rehausser la proposition de valeur de McKesson afin de cibler les besoins non comblés des fabricants et d’y répondre.
  • Stimuler les initiatives axées sur les fabricants en coordonnant les efforts interfonctionnels et en gérant les projets, du démarrage à la conclusion. Veiller à ce que ces initiatives soient exécutées de manière efficace et donnent lieu aux résultats attendus.
  • Façonner et promouvoir une culture organisationnelle positive où chaque membre de l’équipe se sent valorisé et habilité à contribuer au succès collectif de l’équipe et qui est conforme aux valeurs fondamentales et aux objectifs stratégiques de McKesson Canada.

Exigences minimales

  • Un baccalauréat en commerce, en administration des soins de santé, en sciences de la vie ou dans un domaine connexe (un MBA ou un diplôme d’études supérieures constitue un atout)
  • Au moins 10 années d’expérience pertinente en élaboration de stratégies, en information commerciale ou dans un domaine connexe du secteur biopharmaceutique
  • Au moins 4 années d’expérience de leadership en élaboration de stratégies, en information commerciale ou dans un domaine connexe du secteur biopharmaceutique
  • Une expérience avérée en leadership avec des antécédents solides à diriger des initiatives stratégiques et à gérer la collaboration interfonctionnelle dans un environnement organisationnel matriciel.
  • Compétences clés

  • Job Summary

    The Senior Director, Supplier Strategy and Market Intelligence at McKesson Canada is responsible for developing the overall biopharma manufacturer strategy across product categories and manufacturers. This position focuses on developing comprehensive strategies, leveraging market intelligence, and coordinating efforts across the manufacturer side of the business to enhance the company's value proposition and competitive position. Additionally, this role is tasked with leading cross-Business Unit coordination and collaboration on manufacturer strategies and influencing McKesson Canada's position on Generics and OTC manufacturers with McKesson Global Procurement & Sourcing (MGPS).

    Specific Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of manufacturer strategies for McKesson Canada across various therapeutic areas and product categories, with a primary focus on Brand pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline outlook to anticipate and capitalize on upcoming product launches and market shifts.
  • Understand market dynamics and trends within therapeutic areas and how they impact product categories
  • Understand manufacturer unmet needs at a customer segment and individual manufacturer level
  • Assess current relationships and business portfolios and marry with market insights to translate into specific strategies for each manufacturer reflecting the opportunities to grow mutually beneficial relationships
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to socialize, refine manufacturer strategies and ensure alignment and execution of strategies that enhance McKesson Canada's competitive position. Where necessary, facilitate process to make informed trade-offs across teams and / or manufacturers.
  • Support PSSP teams, primarily the Account Management team, in development of their account planning and strategy development through analysis to inform risks and opportunities. Participate in partner meetings and business reviews as requested
  • Articulate McKesson Canada's value proposition to manufacturers in way that resonates with manufacturers and effectively communicates McKesson Canada's unique strengths and capabilities
  • Develop and execute strategy to expand and enhance McKesson’s value proposition to continue to bring value and address unmet needs of manufacturers
  • Drive manufacturer focused initiatives by coordinating cross-functional efforts and managing projects from inception to completion. - Ensure initiatives are executed effectively and deliver the intended outcomes

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree an asset).
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in strategy development, market intelligence, or a related field within the biopharma industry.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of leadership experience in strategy development, market intelligence, biopharma or related field.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and managing cross-functional collaboration in a matrix organization.
  • Key Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of the biopharma (including manufacturer and distribution) space and deep understanding of pharma customer needs.
  • Expertise in market analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. Proven track record in strategy development and market intelligence in the biopharma sector.
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment and coordination across diverse stakeholders.
  • Business partner mindset with a strong service orientation.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience leading strategic planning processes for a biopharma company or distribution organization with manufacturer exposure an asset.
