Job Description
Position Profile :
We are looking for a General Surgeon to provide specialist services for North Battleford to participate in community general surgery, including surgical services, endoscopy, clinic and after-hours on-call coverage.
Relocation Package
Relocation Stipend available to assist with moving and practice start up expenses.Assistance with settlement to the community will be provided.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications :
This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.
The successful candidate will hold certification from the , or will hold certification eligibility. The successful candidate must also be eligible for licensure with the and have current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage. The successful candidate should plan to relocate to the community of the Battlefords, to help foster the vibrant surgical team and support colleagues as needed.
In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
The successful applicant is expected to participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs of the Department of Surgery in the North West Area.
