and Take Initiative with these Responsibilities :

• Maintain and work collaboratively with the College’s Alumni Association Board of Directors
• Coordinate a dedicated group of volunteers to help implement alumni related projects.
• Implement and build the Stay Connected program(s) in order to maintain and build the alumni database.
• Coordinate all Board meetings; develop agendas and other materials as required.
• As required, provide assistance to support Board secretary with meeting logistics and minutes.
• Manage all alumni-focused events and fundraising initiatives, including the coordination and implementation of
• Annual alumni giving campaign. As appropriate, manage a portfolio of alumni donors through a Moves Management structure.
• Annual Cougars Classic fundraising golf tournament
• Annual alumni awards (Brandon and Parkland campuses) and subsequent Advancement dinners and celebrations
• Various Mixer events (in-person and virtual)
• College retiree events
• Develop and distribute all alumni-related communications – both electronic and print – including (but not limited to) :
• Alumni e-news
• Alumni profiles
• Alumni related stories / articles for the college’s Assiniboine Effect magazine.
• As appropriate, develop funding proposals and related correspondence.
• Manage alumni database as required.
• In collaboration with various college departments, contribute to internal and external engagement events and activities :
• Graduation committee (Brandon and Parkland)
• Staff Gathering committee.
• New student orientation committee.
