and Take Initiative with these Responsibilities :
- Maintain and work collaboratively with the College’s Alumni Association Board of Directors
- Coordinate a dedicated group of volunteers to help implement alumni related projects.
- Implement and build the Stay Connected program(s) in order to maintain and build the alumni database.
- Coordinate all Board meetings; develop agendas and other materials as required.
- As required, provide assistance to support Board secretary with meeting logistics and minutes.
- Manage all alumni-focused events and fundraising initiatives, including the coordination and implementation of
- Annual alumni giving campaign. As appropriate, manage a portfolio of alumni donors through a Moves Management structure.
- Annual Cougars Classic fundraising golf tournament
- Annual alumni awards (Brandon and Parkland campuses) and subsequent Advancement dinners and celebrations
- Various Mixer events (in-person and virtual)
- College retiree events
- Develop and distribute all alumni-related communications – both electronic and print – including (but not limited to) :
- Alumni e-news
- Alumni profiles
- Alumni related stories / articles for the college’s Assiniboine Effect magazine.
- As appropriate, develop funding proposals and related correspondence.
- Manage alumni database as required.
- In collaboration with various college departments, contribute to internal and external engagement events and activities :
- Graduation committee (Brandon and Parkland)
- Staff Gathering committee.
- New student orientation committee.
