Are you a strategic fundraiser with a passion for crafting compelling grant proposals? We are seeking a Senior Development Officer, Grants & Foundations , to lead and refine grant strategy, secure transformational funding, and oversee high-impact fundraising communications. You excel in persuasive writing and relationship management, and driving donor engagement through powerful storytelling. Responsibilities include leading the grants portfolio, identifying potential donors, fostering relationships, and writing compelling grant applications and impact reports. This 18-month contract offers the possibility of extension. Join our collaborative fundraising team!
Title : Senior Development Officer, Grants & Foundations
Starting salary range : $69,000 - $73,000
Contract : Temporary – 18 months (with possibility of extension)
Hours : Full time - 35 hours per week
Location : British Columbia – Hybrid / Remote
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Grant Development & Management
- Lead and implement a grant strategy to secure funding from various foundations.
- Research, cultivate and manage a pipeline of high-value funders aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and submit compelling grant proposals and donor impact reports, meeting compliance and deadlines.
- Maintain an annual grant calendar and report fundraising progress to management.
- Analyze donor data and fundraising metrics to optimize fundraising strategies.

Highly organized and deadline-driven, you excel in research and writing, ensuring donor engagement and impactful reporting. Passionate about leveraging philanthropy for meaningful change, you are committed to making a difference.
