Description : About us :
The Enterprise Applications and Solutions Integration (EASI) department within the Chief Information Officer’s (CIO) Division is a central department responsible for all matters pertaining to the development, maintenance and effectiveness of the core administrative management and student systems at the U of T. Included within these responsibilities are all central SAP systems, such as Financial Services, Human Resources, Research Administration and Procurement; the central U of T Student System (ROSI); approximately 40 related vendor and specialized web applications, as well as central Business Intelligence and Document Management applications.
Your opportunity :
Under the general direction of the Student Information Systems (SIS) Manager, Products and Applications, you will be part of a dynamic, collaborative and innovative team focused on delivering transformational technology solutions to the University. Through your efforts in this position, you will directly help improve the University’s administrative management and student systems. You will work in cross-functional teams with developers, analysts and stakeholders on existing and new products using established methodologies, including Agile development processes. You will participate in all stages of the product life cycle including design, development, testing, implementation and support. Specifically, you will be involved in continuing development of the Course Information System, implementation of existing and new functionality, and support for functionality already in production. You will work closely with managers, senior stakeholders and team leads in managing project and development priorities, development sprints and the product road map. You may be involved in work with associated systems in the Student Information Systems group.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Assessing needs and contributing to the development of business systems
- Analyzing and documenting business requirements
- Developing task schedules in concert with project schedules
- Liaising with technical specialists to resolve end-user issues
- Scheduling and assigning work to a small group in a limited area
