Yoplait Liberté Canada’s Procurement department is looking for new talents to create value for the company!
As part of our Indirect Procurement team, join us to manage the capital investments & MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) sourcing for Yoplait Liberté Canada. This position requires proven sourcing experience & skills, as well as effective cross functional project leadership, negotiation, collaborative, analytical and communication skills. Experience in manufacturing, capital investment and / or MRO management is a strong asset. You will be based in Montreal, QC, and you will need to regularly work from our manufacturing plant located in St-Hyacinthe, QC.
Key responsibilities
Define, improve and optimize packaging procurement strategies. You will be responsible for developing local sourcing strategies for the different types of packaging in collaboration with the Operations and Marketing team to ensure the success of projects while respecting budget, quality and deadlines. Your responsibilities will include launching RFx, facilitating the evaluation of technical offers, analyzing commercial offers, conducting negotiations, summarizing the internal team's recommendations for award, establishing contracts and driving supplier performance throughout the project. You will also be involved in defining the guidelines for global Packaging strategies with the Sodiaal Group category team, based in France, and you will adapt those strategies to the Canadian market context and Yoplait Liberté Canada needs, validate this strategy with the internal stakeholders and roll it out within the local organization. Supplier relationship management will also be a key activity.
Risk Management and Value Creation. In order to ensure business continuity, it will be essential to identify alternative solutions and / or suppliers. In addition, you will propose innovative ideas to internal collaborators, particularly in the R&D and Marketing department, in order to deploy solutions to increase operational efficiency or offer added value to our consumers.
Sourcing of new technologies . As a Procurement professional and expert on this category’s market, you will contribute to monitor, evaluate, and capture innovation to deliver topline growth to the company. We also expect accrued networking within the Procurement & Operations ecosystem, and that you will act as a catalyst in bringing forward best practices, cross project leverage & knowledge and collaboration.
Expected skills & behaviors
3-5 years or related experience, BS degree in engineering, industrial experience or procurement experience. Experience in packaging is an asset. Experience in the food-processing industry, especially perishable products is an asset.
Team spirited; drives and lead change by engaging people : although the position does not involve direct reports, you must demonstrate cross-functional / peer-to-peer leadership and stewardship, as well as network animation capabilities.
Project management skills and behavior. Proactive, anticipates issues / opportunities & can manage multiple projects at the same time.
Comfortable in facing paradoxes or contradictions with flexibility, resilience and determination.
Strategic and rigorous data analysis capability.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English, as stakeholders will be located globally.
