Business Systems Analyst (Mining Industry)
Position Overview :
We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Business Systems Analyst to join our team in the mining industry. This role requires an individual who can bridge the gap between technology and business needs, ensuring seamless integration of systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with SAP / S4HANA, and a deep understanding of procurement and supply chain processes within the mining sector. This is a hybrid role that will allow you to work remotely with occasional in-person collaboration at the Toronto office (for GTA candidates) or travel to Princeton (for BC-based candidates).
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business partners in the mining industry to understand requirements and provide solutions that support their needs.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain business systems, primarily SAP / S4HANA, related to P2P (Procure-to-Pay), Supply Chain, and Procurement.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for business systems, with a focus on mining-specific business requirements.
- Assist with system configurations, testing, and end-user training.
- Document business requirements, system changes, and processes related to the mining industry.
- Liaise with external vendors, including those providing P2P cloud platforms like Ariba or COUPA, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying system or process gaps and recommending solutions.
- Participate in the development and execution of test plans, system upgrades, and user acceptance testing.
- Support business users with post-implementation queries and issues.
