Job description

Voyago is currently recruiting for a Accounting Clerk in London, Ontario.

Your Role

Reporting to the Accountant and supporting the accounting group, the Accounting Clerk's main duties are to complete weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable reporting to Management, Account Reconciliations, fuel reporting and data entry, filing, scanning, audits and occasional coverage for other team members.

Primary Responsibilities :

Data Entry

  • Fuel surcharges and invoicing - export data, review and enter invoices
  • Daily and monthly revenue invoicing
  • Receive and process customer deposits
  • Journal entries

Reporting

  • Weekly and monthly AR reporting to management
  • Weekly and Monthly Account reconciliations

    • Administrative

  • Scanning / updating files
  • Audits
  • Customer service inquiries via email / phone

    • Secondary Coverage

    Provide occasional coverage for AR / AP, Financial Analyst, Accountant, and Billing team. Some tasks may include the following :

  • Entering vendor batches
  • data analysis
  • Invoicing

    • Requirements

    Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • College Diploma / University Degree or Equivalent
  • Past experience not necessary but would be an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time and ability to work independently
  • Strong Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Clean Criminal Record Search
