We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Guelph, Ontario. In this role, you will be tasked with managing customer accounts, processing customer credit applications, and ensuring that records are accurate and up-to-date. You will also liaise with various branches and customers to resolve issues as they arise. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and update the customer database on a regular basis.
- Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
- Liaise with branches and customers to investigate and resolve issues at various site locations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer credit.
- Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.
- Handle new customer contract creation and setup.
- Download and process sales transactions from different sites daily.
- Update prices as needed.
- Process daily reporting files from retail locations for sales, inventory and other reports.
- Prepare bank deposits regularly.
- Oversee accounting and reporting for all company-operated locations.
- Carry out daily reconciliation of processing A / R accounts.
- Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required for this position.
- Strong data entry skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP software is an asset
- Experience in managing Customer Accounts is a significant asset.
- Ability to prepare bank deposits is vital for this job role.
- Experience in Sales Analysis & Reporting is highly desirable.
