Financial Accountant-Industrial Distribution
Our client, a leader within the North American Industrial Distribution sector, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team in Edmonton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring all financial data, preparing accurate statements, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Gather and monitor financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual
- Forecast costs and revenues
- Manage tax payments
- Liaise with External audits
- Assist with the preparation of budgets
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Analyze financial trends
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential financial decisions
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Prepare variance analysis to compare actual results to budgeted figures
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare Regulatory Reporting for Government agencies
- Ensure process documentation is maintained
- Support branch managers with financial matters

Remuneration :
Remuneration for this role is a base salary ranging from 70-75K depending on experience plus annual bonus, a great benefit program and RSP matching with an incredible company.
