ACADEMIC PROGRAM MANAGER
FACULTY OF SKILLS AND FOUNDATIONAL LEARNING
NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for someone who can lead from where they are to join us as Academic Program Manager in our Academic Upgrading and Integrated Training program in our journey towards .
Reporting to the Dean, Faculty of Skills and Foundational Learning, the Academic Program Manager assists in leading the Faculty, acting as an internal and external liaison, supporting planning and staff development, and working with other NorQuesters to establish and implement goals and objectives to ensure an effective learning environment is maintained. This role focuses on enrolment management, academic policy implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the learning environment, and furthering our work towards Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Anti-Racism, Decolonial Indigenization.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Provide input, guidance, feedback, and unit perspectives related to Program Development & Review, Faculty Development, Educational Technology, Work Integrated Learning, Community Service Learning, and the future direction and implementation of Reimagine Higher Education.
- Support senior leadership in administrative and operational leadership, fiscal planning, and management within the faculty.
- Ensure maintenance of an effective learning environment.
- Resolve academic appeals.
- Support program reporting, Faculty assignments, external Program Approvals (accreditation).
- Manage Timetabling activities in collaboration with the Office of the Registrar, faculty, and staff.
- Provide operational execution and oversight of the strategic enrolment management plan and priorities.
