About the Opportunity
The Nova Scotia Health Innovation Hub is transforming health care delivery and improving the health of all Nova Scotians by leading initiatives that deliver high-impact health care solutions and developing strategic partnerships with clinical champions, industry, healthcare foundations, governments and academic partners. By pairing leading researchers, innovators, and clinicians with entrepreneurs through the NS Health Innovation Hub, their creative solutions are improving health and health care while also contributing directly to Nova Scotia’s economy.
We are seeking dynamic, experienced individuals to join our team and contribute their skills in a fast paced, collaborative environment where innovation and excellence thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Commercialization :
- Identify and pursue opportunities for technology transfer, commercialization, and intellectual property development.
- Support entrepreneurs, researchers, and clinical teams in scaling health innovations.
- Drive revenue generation through strategic business partnerships.
- Lead initiatives to attract partners, investors, and funding to accelerate innovation and commercialization.
- Pursue commercialization pathways for intellectual property, ensuring the successful transition of health technologies to market.
- Develop and implement revenue strategies aligned with healthcare priorities and economic development goals.
- Negotiate and manage complex business agreements, partnerships, and licensing deals.
