About the work environment :
Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home.
Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8 : 00am and 4 : 30pm with flexibility around start / end times.
We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto offices. Successful candidates who apply outside of this area will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

About the Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field. Master’s or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Deposit product portfolio management, data analytics, product costing, pricing strategies, financial analysis and strategy roles within the banking or financial services sector.
- 2+ years of experience leading a team in a professional setting.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and create reports that drive actionable insights for portfolio growth and cost optimization.
- Experience in developing business cases and financial models to evaluate new products and solutions.
- Strong understanding of deposit products, including savings accounts, GICs, and other related financial instruments.
- Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or similar) and experience with reporting platforms (e.
g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments with proven experience in delivering projects on time.
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CFA) is a plus.
About the day-to-day :
- Lead the analysis of deposit product portfolios to identify opportunities for growth, cost optimization, revenue generation and performance improvement.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Develop pricing strategies taking into consideration the desired rate of return, competitive landscape, bundling of products / services, and value of the product offering to the market, client segment / risk profile.
- Support business case development with revenue and cost estimation models, for new deposit products and solutions to support strategic decision-making and product development initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management, ensuring clear communication of key insights and business implications.
- Lead efforts to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency across portfolio management activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments impacting deposit products.
- Manage, motivate and develop direct reports through ongoing performance development.
Compensation :
Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $130,000.
00 and $140,000.00 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possess.
