Brandt is currently seeking a Parts Person for the Material Handling division at our Mississauga Construction & Forestry location.
The Parts Person is responsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders.
The position entails executing parts inventory duties that bolster our Parts Business by supporting warehouse operations.
This role reports to the Parts Manager, working collaboratively to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizes a problem-solving approach to address challenges and find effective solutions.
- Effective Customer Service skills and able to build lasting partnerships with customers.
- Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard.
- Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches.
- Recognize substitute parts when necessary, leveraging knowledge of interchangeability to fulfill requirements effectively.
- Offer support to branch service technicians as needed.
- Place inventory stock orders.
- Make inventory and bin adjustments.
- Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information.
- Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems.

- Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and in person.
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak seasons including working shift, weekends and holidays as required by operational needs.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Previous experience in the parts industry preferred.
- Solid foundation of parts / warehousing knowledge and skills.
- Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively.
